SUMMARY:Pretty But Wicked Presents: Alison's Halo
DESCRIPTION:Guitars turned into weather. Vocals buried so far down in the mix that you end up inventing half the words and getting attached to your own version. Guitars turned into weather\, vocals buried so far down that you invent half the words\, songs that seem to arrive already in progress. At the time this was a commercial dead end and the bands mostly dissolved without ceremony. Then a generation who were not born yet found the recordings\, decided they were the real thing\, and the people who made them discovered they had an audience three decades late. That is the situation in this room\, and it produces an unusual mix: the handful who bought it the first time around\, standing next to people half their age who found it on a playlist and take it entirely seriously. Both groups are slightly amazed the other exists. Whatever you think you know about reunion shows\, this is the other kind\, where nobody involved expected a second chance.
