SUMMARY:Dekmantel Soundsystem
DESCRIPTION:Some collectives earn a reputation that travels further than any individual member\, usually by being boringly consistent for a decade while everybody else chased trends. Booking one of those is a different proposition from booking a headliner. You are not buying a personality\, you are buying a curatorial standard\, and what arrives is a set built like an argument with a beginning and an end. Expect records you have not heard and will not be able to identify afterwards\, in an order that makes more sense an hour in than it did at the start. The audience knows exactly what it has bought\, which produces an unusually patient floor: nobody is demanding a moment\, so the moment tends to arrive. Go if you have become bored of knowing what is coming next\, and plan on staying for all of it.
