SUMMARY:FTWNH x SHRIMP Present: TRULY MADLY
DESCRIPTION:When two small promoters combine forces on one night it is usually because neither can fill the room alone\, and the result is reliably better than either doing it separately. Two mailing lists\, two sets of regulars\, one floor\, and a bill assembled by people with something to prove. The music is garage and two-step\, which is having a quiet revival among people far too young to remember it the first time. Setting is a dive club\, which is the correct container: low ceiling\, no production budget\, nothing to look at but each other. Starts earlier than a club night and runs late anyway. Go if your idea of a good night out involves a room you could not have found by searching for it. Co-hosted nights also tend to book more carefully\, because each promoter is playing to the other's regulars as much as to their own.
