SUMMARY:Bella Rayne Band
DESCRIPTION:Half past six on a Saturday is the slot nobody wants and the one where the interesting things happen. Too early for a crowd\, too early to be fashionable\, which means whoever is on stage is playing to people who specifically came for them rather than to a room waiting for somebody else. A local band in that position has nothing to coast on. You get the whole set at full commitment to maybe eighty people\, and the drummer is audible\, and somebody's family is standing near the front being visibly proud. If the thing works at all it works here\, with no production and no benefit of the doubt. Arrive at the time printed on the ticket\, which almost nobody does\, and you will have seen the part of the evening that the people who turned up at nine will never know existed.
