SUMMARY:bunii - BUNIIVERSITY TOUR
DESCRIPTION:Tours named after the artist as though it were an institution are usually a joke that is also completely sincere\, and that double register is the whole personality of a certain kind of very online performer. The audience is young\, knows the lore\, and treats a show as a meetup for people who have been in the same comment sections for two years. What that produces in a room is unusual: more screaming than listening in the first ten minutes\, then genuine attention\, then a merch queue that functions as the real event. Orange County gets a lot of these bookings and almost no coverage of them. If you are over thirty this will be slightly disorienting and worth seeing anyway\, because this is what a fanbase looks like when it was assembled entirely without radio\, press or a label deciding anything.
