SUMMARY:Riot Ten w/ Codd Dubz + Joust b2b Mongrel
DESCRIPTION:Hard dubstep has the most clearly defined uniform of any music currently being made\, and you can identify the audience from across a parking lot. That visibility is not vanity. It is a membership signal for a scene that spent years being told its music was not music\, and the people in it look after each other to a degree that genuinely surprises newcomers. Four names on this bill means the night is built as an escalation rather than a headline slot\, with the back-to-back section late on where the two support acts stop being polite. The sound is abrasive by design and physically enormous on a system like this one. First-timers consistently report two things afterwards: that it was louder than they were prepared for\, and that total strangers kept checking they were having a good time.
