SUMMARY:Anaheim Ducks vs. Washington Capitals
DESCRIPTION:A half-past-twelve face-off makes breakfast the pre-game\, which is a genuinely underrated way to spend a Sunday. You eat somewhere near Katella at about eleven\, you are in your seat by noon\, and the entire rest of the day is still sitting there unspent when you walk back out blinking into the afternoon. Almost nothing else in sport gives you that. The crowd for a midday game skews young and loud in a way the evening crowd simply does not - children who have been awake for hours already and are completely unembarrassed about any of it. Washington travels with a following that has spent years watching one of the great careers in the sport and has not stopped turning up since it ended. Make a day of it rather than a night of it. The drive home at four in the afternoon is its own small argument for the entire idea.
