SUMMARY:Los Angeles Kings vs. Columbus Blue Jackets
DESCRIPTION:Nobody buys a ticket for this one because of the opponent\, and that is precisely what makes it worth having. A Friday in March against a club most of the building could not name three players from is the purest version of going to a hockey game: no narrative\, no grudge\, no visiting celebrity\, just two teams and a sheet of ice and whatever happens over two and a half hours. The room is full of people who came because it is Friday and this is what they do on Fridays. Prices for a fixture like this are the gentlest you will find all season\, which means the good seats are genuinely reachable for once. Take the money you saved and spend it on sitting ten rows lower than you normally would. You will spend the entire evening noticing things that the upper bowl flattens into nothing\, starting with how violent the game actually is at close range.
