SUMMARY:Anaheim Ducks vs. Vegas Golden Knights
DESCRIPTION:They come over the desert in convoy. Vegas is a four-hour drive rather than a flight\, so the visiting support does not trickle in the way other away ends do - it arrives together\, on a Saturday\, and it is extremely audible about having made the trip. No other fanbase turns up here in those numbers. The result is one of the few genuinely split buildings on the Anaheim calendar and an atmosphere the fixture's very short history has no business producing. Late March means the division standings are doing real work by this point\, which adds an edge that neither set of supporters has ever needed much help finding. A half past seven start is late enough to make a day of Orange County beforehand. Go early\, eat somewhere near the ballpark\, and walk in once the away end has already got going properly. The walk back to the lots afterwards is the other half of it: several thousand people from two states arguing amiably about a game that has only existed for a few years.
