Nobody who has ever driven three hours to sit on a hard bleacher and scream a teammate's name through their bracket forgets that feeling - the one where your whole gym crammed into two cars because someone had a match. That is the crowd this competition is built for, not the solo grinder chasing federation points. The 2026 Los Angeles Jiu-Jitsu Open brings the North American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation format to Cerritos College for a one-day Gi and No-Gi competition across all divisions and experience levels. The NABJJF model differs from IBJJF in two ways that matter: smaller entry fees and a regional registration pool, which means white belts compete in the same building as brown belts. Cerritos College gives you real bleacher seating and gymnasium space, so you can see multiple mats at once instead of losing sight of the match you came for. If you are here for a teammate, you will actually be able to find them and follow their bracket. All divisions, Gi and No-Gi, all belts, all ages and weight classes.
