The San Diego Symphony closes the summer at the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park with conductor Enluis Montes Olivar leading a full Tchaikovsky program: the exuberant Capriccio italien, the sweeping Piano Concerto No. 1 featuring Grammy-nominated pianist Joyce Yang, the dramatic Francesca da Rimini, and the 1812 Overture — the one that ends with actual fireworks over San Diego Bay.
