You have spent your entire adult life being told that beer and science do not mix. The California Science Center disagrees, and on August 1st, they are opening the museum after hours to prove it.
Brewsology Beer Fest transforms Exposition Park's crown jewel into a tasting floor where over 50 local breweries pour alongside live science demonstrations. Wander through aerospace exhibits with a hazy IPA. Watch a chemistry demo while sampling a barrel-aged stout. The museum becomes the bar, and the bar becomes the museum — and somewhere between your third tasting and a conversation with a brewer about fermentation science, the line between the two disappears entirely.
This is not a beer garden with a science theme. This is a proper after-hours museum experience where you happen to have unlimited craft beer. Every ticket includes access to the full museum — exhibits, galleries, demonstrations — plus unlimited samplings from every brewery on the floor.
Early admission ($70) opens at 7:00 PM with an exclusive first hour and specialty pours. General admission ($55) runs 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. 21+ only. Tickets are not available at the door. California Science Center, 700 Exposition Park Drive, Los Angeles.
