About

The chairs are closer than they should be. The ring is smaller than it looks on TV. And the first time a wrestler hits the ropes three feet from your face, you understand why people drove forty-five minutes to a brewpub in Vista on a Saturday night.

SoCal Pro Wrestling runs live shows at CoLab Public House — the kind of indie wrestling where the performers know half the audience by name and the storylines are built in the parking lot between matches. High-flying action, heel turns that get genuinely personal, and a crowd that treats every near-fall like a life event.

Doors open at 7 PM. Pre-sale tickets are $25, $30 at the door. Kids 6-12 are $10, under 6 free. CoLab Public House, 410 W California Ave, Vista, CA 92083.

If you've ever tried to explain to someone why indie wrestling is better than the big shows, this is the room you bring them to. No pyrotechnics. No jumbotron. Just the mat, the ropes, and the sound of a chop that echoes off the brewery walls.

San Diego FC Summer Concert Night
Today · Jul 25 From $40 Snapdragon Stadium, 2101 Stadium W…

Ninety minutes of soccer, then the stadium flips into a concert venue and nobody leaves - one ticket, two completely different reasons to still be in Snapdragon Stadium after dark. That is the whole premise of San Diego FC's Summer Concert Night. The lineup gets announced closer to the date, but the setting sells itself: an open-air stadium on a San Diego summer night, a crowd already buzzing from the match, and a room that does not empty out when the final whistle blows. July 25.

Kitsune Women's Wrestling: Stay With Me
Tomorrow · Jul 26 0.0 20795 Main St, Carson, CA 90745

Free. All ages. Carson, July 26. Women's pro wrestling at 20795 Main St — Kitsune's Stay With Me showcase. Free admission makes this one of the most accessible live sports events in Southern California. The crowd ranges from wrestling veterans who can recite every move to first-timers discovering that women's wrestling is categorically different from what they've seen on television -- faster, technically sharper, and with an energy that comes from wrestlers who chose this discipline because they love it. Doors open at 2 PM, show runs 3 to 6 PM. All ages welcome. No ticket cost. Kitsune builds on a tradition of women's wrestling promotions -- Shimmer, Stardom, WSU -- that have quietly demonstrated for years that the women's match is often the best match on any card. Stay With Me continues that tradition in Carson, for free, on a Sunday afternoon in July.

Lucha Wars: 7 Year Anniversary - Los Angeles
Tomorrow · Jul 26 2811 E Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, …

Seven years in, Lucha Wars has built a Los Angeles following around the theatrical tradition of Mexican wrestling. The 7 Year Anniversary show is the biggest card they have put together — and the crowd that shows up knows the difference. This is Lucha Libre the way it was meant to be experienced: up close, loud, and electric. Wrestlers with roots in the barrio, storytelling in the ring that goes beyond athletics, and a crowd that knows every name and isn't afraid to show it. Whether you're a longtime fan of the sport or just curious what the noise is about on E. Olympic Blvd on a Sunday afternoon, this show is worth the drive. East Los Lucha events regularly sell out — the venue holds a few hundred, and word travels fast in this community. Tickets on Eventbrite. Come ready to cheer, bring cash for merch, and expect at least one moment that makes the whole room erupt. Seven years of this. The best kind of underground institution.

FilAm CreatorCon Mixer — SDCC 2026 Offsite at Pizza Kaiju
Tomorrow · Jul 26 Pizza Kaiju, 1985 National Ave Sui…

There is a room in San Diego where the stories your lola told you live alongside the panels you waited six hours to see — and on Saturday night during Comic-Con, that room opens its doors at Pizza Kaiju. FilAm CreatorCon's SDCC Mixer is a free evening gathering that brings together Filipino American creators working in comic books, film, literature, tattooing, dance, music, and every creative form in between. This is not a panel or a signing — it is a casual networking night where the Filipino American pop culture community comes together during the biggest fan convention in the world, hosted by DJ G Money and WinLove. Pizza Kaiju sits at 1985 National Avenue in Barrio Logan, a short ride from the Convention Center but a world away from the badge-gated chaos of the main floor. No Comic-Con badge is required. No cover charge. Just show up. What makes this gathering different from the dozen other SDCC parties happening the same night is specificity. This is not for fans in the abstract — it is for Filipino Americans who create, who consume, who see themselves in the work and want to be in the same room as the people making it. The artists who draw the books, the filmmakers who tell the stories, the chefs who bridge food and fandom. If that sentence describes you or someone you know, this is the room. FilAm CreatorCon has grown from a small gathering into a fixture of SDCC week, and the mixer is the most accessible entry point — no tickets, no waitlist, no badge. Come for the music, stay for the connections, leave knowing the community is bigger than you thought.

WWE Monday Night Raw – Intuit Dome, Inglewood (July 2026)
Every Monday · Next Jul 27 Intuit Dome, Inglewood, CA

The reason people travel for a live Raw is that it is a live television show. Whatever the company decided that afternoon — a title change, a debut, a return that has been rumored for months — happens in front of the people in the building first. The crowd reacting is the soundtrack the rest of the audience hears on TV. Raw has aired every Monday since 1993. Some of the people in the Inglewood crowd on July 27 have not missed an episode since they were in elementary school. They have a relationship to the storylines that does not pause for the rest of life. The wrestlers know it. The pop they get when they walk through the curtain is the reason they keep doing this job. The Intuit Dome was engineered for a single moment to be visible everywhere at once. For wrestling, that matters more than for any other live sport — every reaction shot is theater, every belt holdup needs the back row to see it. The halo board makes the angle the camera holds the same angle every seat shares. Inglewood, July 27, 2026. Tickets via Ticketmaster and WWE.com. Metro C Line runs straight in. Bring the sign you have been writing in your head for weeks.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Seattle Mariners
In 3 days · Jul 28 1000 Vin Scully Ave, Los Angeles, …

Two West Coast clubs under the lights, the marine air off the basin, and that low golden wash across the infield before the seats fill — a Mariners night is one of the easy ones to show up early for. Get there when gates open, two hours before first pitch: batting practice is close-up, the park is quiet, and Chavez Ravine sits under the San Gabriels doing the thing it does at dusk. Dodger Dogs have been argued about since 1962, the loaded nachos hold their own, and the third-base pavilion finds full volume faster than any other section. The crowd is the real draw — Koreatown, East LA, the Valley, transplants from every other MLB city, all bound by the plain fact that people who love this team really love it. Parking's $35 on-site; the Dodger Stadium Express from Union Station is $8 round trip and skips the whole traffic problem. Los Angeles Dodgers vs Seattle Mariners at Dodger Stadium.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Seattle Mariners
In 4 days · Jul 29 1000 Vin Scully Ave, Los Angeles, …

Bring the friend who moved down from Seattle and still won't admit they've switched allegiances — a Mariners series at Dodger Stadium is built for exactly that kind of split loyalty, two Pacific fan bases in one ballpark. Come early; the two hours before first pitch, with batting practice up close and the light going long across the infield under the San Gabriels, are half the reason to have a ticket. The Dodger Dog has been a point of pride and debate since 1962, and the third-base pavilion is where the noise starts. What actually ties the place together is the range of people in it — Koreatown, East LA, the Valley, arrivals from every other MLB city — and the shared, unembarrassed fact that they really love this team. Parking is $35 on-site, or take the $8 Dodger Stadium Express from Union Station and skip the lot entirely. Los Angeles Dodgers vs Seattle Mariners at Dodger Stadium.

Santigold — Humphreys Concerts by the Bay, San Diego
In 4 days · Jul 29 2241 Shelter Island Dr, San Diego,…

Some artists make you move before you understand what you are moving to. Santigold is one of them — a voice that sits at the intersection of dancehall, punk, new wave, and electronic music, refusing to pick a lane because lanes were never the point. On July 29, she brings that restless energy to one of San Diego's most intimate outdoor stages. Humphreys Concerts by the Bay is the venue where the harbor becomes part of the show. Yachts drift behind the stage while sailboats catch the last light. Santigold's live set transforms this bayside setting into something that feels like a block party on the edge of the Pacific — "Disparate Youth" and "L.E.S. Artistes" hit harder when you can feel the salt air. Troy Baker Sound provides support with dancehall-inflected production that sets the tone before the headliner arrives. General admission, standing-room-only. Doors open at 6:00 PM, show starts at 7:30 PM. Humphreys is a cashless venue at 2241 Shelter Island Drive. If you have been looking for a reason to spend a Tuesday night on Shelter Island — the bay is warmer at sunset than you remember.

You found your people.

They didn't know each other before Falkor either.
