The Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk happens on the second Thursday of every month from 6 to 10 PM across the Historic Core galleries, studios, and cultural spaces clustered on Spring Street and Main Street between 3rd and 9th. It has been running continuously since 2004 and draws between 5,000 and 10,000 people on a typical night. The format is self-guided. No wristband, no single entrance, no ticketed main stage. You walk. Galleries extend opening hours and host receptions, live music, and artist talks. Boutiques, bars, and restaurants along the route stay open late. Street art installations appear in parking lots and alleys. Pop-up vendors set up between gallery hops. …
