Kinfolk Fest is San Diego's largest Juneteenth celebration, returning to Waterfront Park with a full day of live music, DJ sets, cultural programming, and community gathering on June 20, 2026. Organized by SD Melanin (@sdmelanin), the festival runs from 1pm to 9pm and is strictly 21 and over. The main stage features live performers and DJs spanning R&B, hip hop, Afrobeats, and soul throughout the afternoon and into the evening. A Black-Owned Marketplace showcases local Black entrepreneurs, artists, and makers, making Kinfolk Fest a platform for economic community-building alongside cultural celebration.
