Every fandom in Ventura County grew up driving somewhere else to be around itself. Down to Los Angeles, down to San Diego, into a hall so enormous that the guest you came for is a three-hour line you never actually join.

The vendor hall mixes imported merch with local artists selling prints out of a milk crate, which is where the good stuff always is. One day, in a performing arts center with real air conditioning and a layout that keeps the screenings from bleeding into the game room.
