Friday Night Magic at TCS Rockets is the weekly competitive appointment for the San Diego Magic community — the structured draft or sealed event that runs every Friday and produces the combination of competitive play and social ritual that keeps players coming back week after week.

FNM is the infrastructure of competitive Magic at the local level. The format rotates — sometimes draft, sometimes sealed, sometimes Standard — which means every Friday has a different puzzle. The prize structure rewards performance but the real value is the repetitions: playing consistently at a well-run local event builds your game in ways that kitchen table play and online ranked ladder don't.
