Lowrider culture in Southern California has never been about the car. The California Love Car Show fills the grounds of St. Anthony Claret in Anaheim with everything from chrome-dripping lowriders to hand-painted miniature bikes with working hydraulics. Pedal cars. Scale models. Custom builds that took longer than some college degrees. Trophies go to the standout entries, but the real currency is the conversation that starts when someone stops at your build and says 'how'd you do that?' Free admission keeps the gate open to anyone curious enough to walk in.
