Say what you want about disco; nobody has ever stayed seated through 'Dancing Queen,' and nobody ever will. ABBA LA recreates the whole shimmering catalog -- the harmonies, the sequins, the unkillable choruses -- and drops it into the courtyard at Doffo, the motorcycle winery where the tasting room doubles as a vintage racing-bike museum. It is a gloriously unserious night: wine in hand, a vineyard going dark, and a couple hundred people deciding all at once that they are absolutely going to dance. Late August, close to home, exactly the kind of low-stakes fun a good weekend is built on. Wear something you can actually spin in, and do not even try to stay seated when 'Waterloo' hits. Resistance is pointless and frankly no fun. Just give in and dance.
