What it was like

Room 337 at House of Blues Anaheim goes loud and vintage on April 20, 2026 -- doors at 7pm, tickets at HOB.com from around $20. A Night With David Lee Roth is the tribute experience for the Diamond Dave era: Van Halen classics and Roth solo catalog delivered live in one of Anaheim's best intimate music rooms.

Room 337 is the smaller stage inside House of Blues, designed for exactly this kind of show. The ceiling is low, the stage is close, and the sound wraps around the room before the first note lands. A Night With David Lee Roth brings the 1984-era Van Halen energy -- Runnin' With the Devil, Jump, Panama, Hot for Teacher -- the full setlist from the era when arena rock was the only kind that mattered.

House of Blues Anaheim is located at 1530 S Disneyland Dr, Anaheim, CA 92802, inside the Disneyland Resort. Disney parking structures are the closest paid option. OCTA Bus Route 50 serves the area. The venue is 21+; check HOB.com for age policy confirmation and ticket availability for current and upcoming shows.

This specific date has passed -- check houseofblues.com/anaheim for future A Night With David Lee Roth bookings and similar tribute nights in the Room 337 series.

Live music in a room like Hollywood Bowl has a specific physics: the sound arrives before you've decided how to feel about it, and The Human League With Very Special Guests Soft Cel has always known what to do with that. Live shows at rooms this size leave a different imprint than arenas — the ones who go remember the set list; the ones who don't remember the night they said no.

Pacific Beach Night Market
Today · Jun 4 Free Bayard St and Garnet Ave, Pacific …

Every Thursday evening, Pacific Beach comes alive at the corner of Bayard Street and Garnet Avenue. The PB Night Market runs from 5 to 9:30 PM, just 150 steps from the Pacific Ocean, and brings together 9 to 12 rotating food vendors, fire pits, games, and live music in one of San Diego most walkable beach neighborhoods. This is a neighborhood gathering, not a ticketed event. You show up, grab something to eat from one of the food trucks or pop-up vendors, and settle into the fire pit area for the kind of spontaneous Thursday evening that does not need a plan. The music is live and local -- acoustic sets, small bands, the occasional DJ. The crowd is a mix of Pacific Beach locals, students, and anyone who wandered over from the beach. Vendors rotate weekly. Past offerings have included birria tacos, banh mi, craft lemonade, Hawaiian shave ice, artisan pastries, and local small-batch hot sauces. A few artisan and craft vendors typically set up alongside the food. Free to attend. No tickets, no RSVPs. Just walk up. Dress for the beach breeze -- it cools off after sunset even in summer.

Rady Shell at Jacobs Park — 2026 Summer Season
Tomorrow · Jun 5 – Sep 30 Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, 222 Mar…

The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park opens its 2026 summer season in June with the San Diego Symphony performing under the open sky at 222 Marina Park Way — performances running through September at San Diego's most beautiful outdoor venue, right on the waterfront. The Shell was purpose-built for this experience. You arrive before the music starts, the bay is in front of you, the city skyline is over your left shoulder, the sun going down over the Pacific. By the time the orchestra plays the first note, the setting has already done most of the work. The San Diego Symphony performs here across the full summer — classical programs, film scores, pops nights, and headline collaborations with artists the symphony circuit doesn't usually bring to San Diego. Tickets vary by program at theshell.org — single performances available throughout the season. The lawn section is the most social option; reserved seating gives you the full view. Bring something to sit on for lawn nights. The waterfront breeze arrives in the evening regardless of the afternoon heat. This is the outdoor concert experience in San Diego. Everything else is a substitute.

Abbot Kinney First Fridays — June 2026

Abbot Kinney First Fridays runs the first Friday of every month from 5 to 10 PM on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, Los Angeles. The street transforms into a pedestrian-friendly outdoor market and block party with all the boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops extended open late alongside food trucks and live street performances. Abbot Kinney is one of the few streets in LA that has maintained a genuine neighborhood identity through decades of gentrification pressure — independent retailers, working artists, local restaurants, and design studios have anchored the block since the 1980s. First Fridays is the moment when the community that sustains those businesses shows up together. The energy is different from a festival. There is no main stage and no single sponsor. Just a few hundred people moving between shops, plates of food from local trucks, and occasional live music spilling out of storefronts. It is LA neighborhood culture at its most accessible. Street parking fills early. Metro Expo Line to 26th/Bergamot and a short rideshare, or park in the surrounding Venice residential streets and walk in. The event is free.

San Diego Symphony — Summer Pops at The Rady Shell 2026
Tomorrow · Jun 5 – Sep 19 The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, 222…

The San Diego Symphony's Summer Pops season at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park brings world-class orchestral music to the San Diego waterfront for a series of outdoor concerts running June through September 2026. The Rady Shell — an acoustically engineered open-air performance venue on the waterfront at Jacobs Park — provides a stunning setting for the Symphony's summer season with San Diego Bay visible beyond the audience. The Summer Pops programming spans the full range from classical masterworks to pops concerts featuring Broadway music, film scores, jazz, and popular artists performing with orchestral accompaniment. The variety makes the summer season accessible to audiences who aren't regular classical concertgoers while delivering the full orchestral experience that the Symphony's musician quality supports. The Rady Shell's outdoor format is distinctly family-friendly — picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and the relaxed atmosphere of the waterfront park contrast with the formality of indoor concert halls. The adjacent Jacobs Park lawn allows families to spread out while the children remain within range of the music. Food and wine are available from vendors on-site. The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is located at 222 Park Blvd in downtown San Diego, walkable from the Embarcadero and accessible via MTS Trolley (Convention Center station). Parking in the downtown convention center structures. Individual concert tickets and season subscriptions available through the San Diego Symphony website.
