The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim, 400 W Disney Way. May 24th. Colorblind at the Parish — a mid-cap venue with the sound infrastructure of the House of Blues brand and the size that makes a rock show feel like a rock show rather than a production.
The Parish at Anaheim sits inside the House of Blues facility and operates as its own room — standing capacity, close to the stage, the House of Blues sound system doing what it was built to do. For bands at this level of the circuit, this is the venue that fits: not too large, not too small, the stage close enough that the energy from the room and the stage finds each other without assistance.
Tickets at ticketmaster.com. May 24th in Anaheim. The Disney Way location is accessible from across Orange County and easy from LA. If you've been following Colorblind and have been waiting for them to hit a venue that matches their live reputation, this is the show. Get there early. The Parish fills from the stage back.
