About

GameSync San Diego, June 6th. Free to come. The Elden Ring DLC Community Night fills 2860 Main Street with the players who have been living in the Lands Between long enough to have opinions — real ones, about build theory and boss sequencing and the specific fights that everyone agrees are designed to make you feel something unpleasant.

GameSync is a real venue for this. Multiple stations running the game simultaneously means you're watching different builds, different playstyles, different approaches to the same content running in parallel. The person next to you discovers something in their playthrough that changes how you think about yours. The DLC is new enough that nobody has solved it completely — the conversation in the room is alive in a way that online discussion, where someone has already wikied everything, isn't.

Free to attend. The venue handles the setup; you bring the experience and the opinions. If you haven't touched the DLC yet, this is the night to start it in a room where help is one seat over. If you've already put in hours, this is where you find the person who took the boss you gave up on in an entirely different direction. gamesync.us for the event page. Show up early for a station.

Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc — Fan Screening Community Event San Diego
In 5 days · Jun 7 AMC Mission Valley, 1640 Camino de…

Chainsaw Man: The Movie — Reze Arc is in theaters now across San Diego, and the local anime fan community is gathering. The film adapts the Reze Arc from Tatsuki Fujimoto manga — a self-contained story with Reze as one of the most complex characters in the Chainsaw Man universe. Whether you are a manga reader who has waited for this or an anime-only fan, this is the recommended community theater experience. AMC theaters in San Diego are showing the film — check AMC Mission Valley, AMC La Jolla, and AMC Chula Vista for current showtimes. Subbed and dubbed versions available. Crunchyroll Fan subscribers may have early access screening access at participating theaters. Running time approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Post-credits scene worth staying for. This community event page is for SD-area fans who want to watch together and meet other fans. Check r/ChainsawMan Reddit for local fan coordination. Bring a friend who has not seen the series — the Reze arc works as a standalone entry point.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Community Night — June
Jun 27, 2026 $10 GameSync San Diego, 2860 Main St, …

June's Dragon Ball Sparking Zero community night at GameSync in downtown San Diego on June 27. The meta has evolved since launch — new techniques, new character tiers, new answers to the old dominant strategies — and so has the local competition. Full bracket, character variety encouraged, and the kind of crowd energy that only Dragon Ball generates in a live room. GameSync is the right venue for this: a fighting game community arcade with an audience that grew up with the franchise and takes it seriously without losing the joy. This is not casual. It is the San Diego FGC choosing the game it wants to compete at, which means the skill level is real and the matches are worth watching even if you are not in the bracket. Show up early to warm up. Bracket play starts after an open practice period. 2860 Main St in Barrio Logan — free street parking available after 6 PM. All skill levels welcome. The regulars will explain the matchups. Dragon Ball Sparking Zero rewards style as much as execution. This is the game the community chose. Show up.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Community Night — July 2026
Jul 25, 2026 ✨ New $10 GameSync San Diego, 2860 Main St, …

The Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Community Night at GameSync continues its monthly run into July, drawing the San Diego fighting game community that has been building around this title since its release. The format is community bracket: organized competition with enough structure to be meaningful but loose enough that the session is actually fun. GameSync on Main Street in San Diego is one of the most consistent venues for the local FGC — the staff knows the scene, the setups are reliable, and the crowd is built from people who come back month after month rather than one-time drop-ins. Dragon Ball FighterZ drew the most competitive scene of any anime fighter in recent memory; Sparking Zero is continuing that trajectory with a different mechanical approach that has divided and energized the community in equal measure. Whether you are grinding ranked or just want bracket experience against players at your level, the community night is the right format. Entry at $10 as part of GameSync's standard admission. San Diego, Logan Heights area.

Mortal Kombat 1 Community Night SD
Aug 8, 2026 $10 GameSync San Diego, 2860 Main St, …

GameSync San Diego, 2860 Main St. August 8th. $10. The Mortal Kombat 1 Community Night in San Diego — the August gathering built around one of the most technically demanding fighting game rosters in the current competitive circuit, for the players who want more than ranked online can give them. MK1's kameo system changes the calculus of every matchup. The read you had on a character last month shifts the moment their kameo selection shifts, and the only way to stress-test your adaptation is to play against opponents who have been doing the same study in parallel. Community Night is that laboratory — the informal bracket that is more honest than ranked online and more competitive than a casual session. $10 at the door. August 8th at GameSync, 2860 Main St. gamesync.us for event details and timing. The San Diego MK community is building itself through nights like this — the regulars who have been in the bracket since launch and the players showing up for the first time to see where their game actually stands. Either way, the room has answers. Come find yours.
