If you've done Anaheim in July, you know both halves of Anime Expo: the parts you loved and the parts that quietly broke you by day three — the two-hour artist-alley crawl, the panic of a panel line, the heat. This is the version that keeps the first half and throws out the second. Same AX in miniature, in November, when the whole thing finally fits in your hands.

At this scale you can actually cover the floor. The creator whose print you've had pinned up since last summer is at a table you can reach; the panels run smaller and longer, so they breathe; the cosplay stays excellent because the AX crowd takes it seriously no matter the size of the room. It's the convention experience with the logistical weight lifted off — the parts that made you fall for AX, minus the parts that sent you home needing a recovery day.
