For over a century this has been where automakers make the announcements that decide the next few years. Concepts still months away from a yes or no. Battery platforms shown in public for the first time. Model years kept secret until somebody pulls a sheet off. The trade days come first and take most of the reveals, and the public days that follow add ride-alongs, driving demos and enough floor space to lose an afternoon in. Performance, luxury, trucks and the electrified stuff each get their own territory.
