Finest City Improv — Weekly Shows
F
Finest City Improv
Nothing on that stage exists yet. Somebody in the audience says a word, four people build an entire world out of it, and in twenty minutes it will be gone forever with only the room to remember it.
That is the deal at a house-team theater, and this one spent years growing its own comedians instead of importing them, which is why the style here is specific rather than generic. Sets run half an hour and rotate, so one ticket buys three or four completely different comedic approaches in a night. It is a bar and a theater at the same time — table seating, full bar, small enough that a good scene feels like it is happening to you personally.
Evenings in Hillcrest on Sixth Avenue, with the schedule and tickets at finestcityimprov.com.
Bring the friend who never laughs at anything. Watch what a live room does to them.
