No stage. No stream setup. No commentary desk. Just tables, sleeves coming off, and the specific sound of a binder opening — which is what this community actually is in the months between the big tournaments nobody can get into.
Spikes runs this monthly and it has quietly become a fixture of the LA card game scene. Open play, trades, brackets that stay friendly. Competitive grinders sit next to collectors who never play a match and just want to turn pages all night, and neither one makes the other feel out of place. That is harder to build than a prize pool. The regulars take the time to teach — walk in with an out-of-the-box deck and somebody will tell you what is wrong with it and then help you fix it.

Bring the binder you have not opened since middle school. Somebody in that room wants exactly what is in it.
