In a prison visiting room, a man teaches his wife to run. She is losing her sight, and he is training her to move fast through a darkness she cannot navigate yet, toward a freedom neither of them is sure exists. That is the premise, and it does not let go of you. Amir Reza Koohestani and the Mehr Theatre Group perform it in Persian with English supertitles — three Iranians, one of them training a blind woman to run the Channel Tunnel, staged with the spare beauty Koohestani is known for.
