Hardcore normally lives in basements and half-empty VFW halls, guarded by people who prefer it that way, which is precisely what makes this band so improbable.

Turnstile dragged the genre into daylight without sanding a single edge off it, folding in dub and soul and pure sunshine until a pit full of airborne bodies somehow reads as joy instead of violence. Watching a band from the scene get genuinely, enormously big is a complicated feeling for the faithful, and then the first song starts and it resolves into one simple thing: everybody, veterans and newcomers alike, losing it together. Boy Harsher and hardcore lifers Terror fill out a bill that covers the whole spectrum of heavy.
