Plenty of bands sing about heartbreak; Movements sing about the stuff nobody puts on a t-shirt — dissociation, depression, watching someone you love come apart. Their post-hardcore is gentle and brutal at once, spoken-word confessions that swell into choruses a whole room screams like a group exhale. For the kids who found them during the worst year of their lives, a Movements show is closer to group therapy than a concert: hundreds of people admitting the same quiet thing out loud, together, and feeling lighter for it.
