Percy Jackson: The Titan's Curse — Free SDCC Offsite Activation

You round the corner near Baja Rick's and the Gaslamp is gone. In its place: Camp Half-Blood, or close enough that the twelve-year-old still living in your chest cavity stops breathing for a second. Disney's Percy Jackson offsite activation for Season 3 — The Titan's Curse — has taken over a stretch of sidewalk and turned it into something that makes you forget you are standing in 90-degree heat next to a parking garage. The installation is immersive, detailed, and built for the kind of fan who has opinions about whether the show got Annabeth right. Walk through it. Find the details they hid for the people who actually read the books. Take the photo that will make your group chat lose their minds. It is free. No badge needed. Open Thursday through Saturday, 10:30 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM, July 23-27 during Comic-Con week. Near Baja Rick's, Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego. If you grew up reading those books under a blanket with a flashlight, this is the room they built for you.
