Monday earned its bad reputation just about everywhere except the rooftop at Sky Deck, where a couple hundred people willingly show up to shout song titles at each other into the sunset. Music bingo is the great equalizer: it doesn't matter how you dress or what you do for a living, only whether you can name the deep cut off the third bar of a track, and the whole deck erupts when someone finally slams their card down. Perched above Del Mar Highlands with the light going gold, it's the rare Monday plan people actually look forward to instead of quietly dreading. Half the room is on a nervous first date, half is a friend group that's been coming for months, and everyone is a little too competitive about a game with no real stakes at all.
