Mission Bayfest 2026 — San Diego Waterfront Music Festival
The bay does something to music that a room cannot replicate. It opens the sound up, lets the bass travel across water, and turns the sunset into a second stage nobody booked and everybody watches.
Mariners Point sits right on the seam where San Diego stops being a city and starts being a coastline, and for three days in October it fills with a bill where every single band is somebody's favorite. Rebelution and The Offspring on top. Steel Pulse, SOJA, Common Kings, The Interrupters, The Movement, Kolohe Kai, Goldfinger, The Expendables underneath. Reggae, rock, and punk, with a crowd that is pure San Diego — flip-flops, sunburn, and a laid-back intensity that only exists when you can hear the ocean between songs.
Single-day and three-day passes, with VIP adding separate entry, shade, private bars, and $2 tacos that arguably justify the upgrade on their own.
Bring sunscreen, bring people, and accept that October here is just summer under a different name.
