What it was like
Every summer, Huntington Beach stops being a beach town and becomes the center of the surfing world. Nine days. Free admission. The planet watching.
The US Open of Surfing returns to the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier with the world's top surfers competing in waves that the entire action sports community follows. The beach fills with fans, families, and people who just came for the energy and stayed because they could not look away.
Beyond the competition: skateboarding demos, BMX exhibitions, live music stages, athlete meet-and-greets, interactive brand activations, and the kind of festival atmosphere that only happens when surf culture takes over an entire coastline. The pier becomes the grandstand. The Pacific becomes the arena.
One of the largest action sports gatherings in the world, and it happens in your backyard. Bring sunscreen. Bring a towel. Leave your parking expectations at home.
July 25 through August 2, 2026. Free admission. All ages.
