Ponte Winery's Annual Grape Stomp has been running for 24 years because the formula never needs changing — arrive at 4, start with wine and sangria from the new vintage, eat an antipasto spread and a dinner buffet (braised short ribs, stuffed chicken, harvest salad), then climb into the barrel and find out who in your group has competitive instincts they never knew about. A live band plays. Prizes go to the stompers. The dancing that follows is the part nobody plans.

Ponte is one of the estates that made Temecula Wine Country a real destination, and the grape stomp is its annual celebration of the harvest — equal parts agricultural tradition, dinner party, and barely contained chaos.
