The second night of Kacey Musgraves at the Kia Forum carries the same quiet magic as the first, but with the looseness that only comes from a band that has already shaken off the opening-night nerves. Musgraves has always been the country star who sounds like she wandered in from a different genre and decided to stay — the one whose Grammy-winning Golden Hour sounded more like a Daft Punk record than a Nashville album, and whose Deeper Well era feels like a woman who has finally stopped explaining herself. At the Forum in Inglewood, the production wraps the room in light and leaves space for the voice to do what it does best: make 18,000 people feel like they are being sung to individually.
