Night Out at LACMA — Free After-Hours at the Museum

You have walked past LACMA a hundred times in daylight and the building looked like something that belonged to someone else. On this night it belongs to you. Night Out at LACMA opens the galleries after hours — free, no ticket price, just an RSVP because the spots go fast. You wander through the exhibitions with a drink from the cash bar and a churro shaped like the city from one of the food trucks parked outside. A DJ plays under the Levitated Mass and the sound carries across Wilshire in a way that makes people on the sidewalk stop walking. Aura readings. Aura photography. The kind of night where you show up alone and leave with three new numbers in your phone. The museum has always been free for LA County residents on weekday afternoons, but almost nobody knows that. This is different — this is the museum saying: come at night, bring your friends, treat this place like it is yours. Because it is. Wednesday, October 8, 2026. Free. RSVP required — spots are limited. LACMA, Miracle Mile, Los Angeles.
