LA Rams vs. Green Bay Packers — NFL's First Thanksgiving Eve Game
The NFL has never played on Thanksgiving Eve before. On November 25, 2026, that changes — and the stage is SoFi Stadium, the Rams hosting the Packers in a primetime game that streams exclusively on Netflix. The league could have picked any matchup to make history. They picked this one.
There is something about a Wednesday night football game during the week nobody works. The whole city is already in holiday mode. Traffic is lighter. People are flying in. Extended family is arriving. And now, instead of the dead air between landing and the turkey, there is a game — the kind of game you build the evening around. The Rams and Packers have history that goes back decades, and this particular installment comes in Week 12 when both teams are fighting for playoff positioning.
Kickoff is 5:00 PM Pacific. The Netflix broadcast means you can watch it from your aunt's couch in another state, but being in the building for a first-of-its-kind NFL event is the kind of thing you tell people about for years.
SoFi Stadium, 1001 Stadium Dr, Inglewood, CA 90301. Find tickets on Ticketmaster — this one sells itself.
