Writing a genuinely upbeat song about anxiety is much harder than writing a sad one, and this New Zealand band has built an entire catalog on that specific trick — major-key guitar pop carrying lyrics about dread, delivered with harmonies that four jazz-school graduates can execute without appearing to try.
