Two sisters make a pact to die together rather than grow up separately, and then one of them gets bitten. Everybody describes this as the werewolf-as-puberty film, which is accurate and also sells it short, because the horror is not the transformation, it is watching a person you organised your whole personality around start finding you embarrassing. It came out in 2000, was barely released, and survived entirely on word of mouth and traded copies until it became the thing a certain kind of teenager hands to another certain kind of teenager. Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins play the sisters with a deadpan that makes the funny parts land and the sad parts land harder.
