Daft Punk broke up in a YouTube video in 2021 and a lot of people are still not okay about it. There is no version of the world where you see those two on a stage again, and that absence is exactly why rooms like this one keep filling up - not as a substitute, more like a wake that got out of hand. The set is built around the live arrangements rather than the album cuts, which is the part that matters: the Alive-era pyramid versions, where the songs get cut into each other and the thing you recognise arrives forty seconds later than your body expects. Go with the person who sent you Discovery in high school. You will both do the robot arms and neither of you will acknowledge it afterward. Doors at 10pm, 21+, 618 S. Spring Street.
