Factory 93 presents Brunello's Mellow Circus
Halloween in a warehouse is the one night of the year when a room full of people in costume reads as completely normal rather than as a theme, and the dance floors that do it well do not decorate at all - the crowd handles that. This is an industrial space off Mission Road, concrete and ceiling height, with a sound system brought in for the night. The ticket price is high for a warehouse and the people paying it know exactly what they are buying: a long set, a proper rig, and a room that is not going to be full of people who wandered in. Expect it to run very late, and expect the last hour to be the reason anybody tells you about it afterwards. Nine on Saturday on South Mission Road. The east-of-the-river warehouse circuit peaks around Halloween every year, and a decent share of this crowd will be at two other buildings the same weekend.
