Los Angeles Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City travels better than any other support in this league and they have had years of practice at turning SoFi into something that does not sound like a home game. Red everywhere in the concourse, a genuine contest for the building, and a home crowd that arrives knowing it has to work for its own room. That is the fixture. It lands in the strange gap between the holidays and the new year, when half the city is still off and nobody is entirely sure what day it is, which gives the whole thing a loose, slightly delirious quality on top of a division game with real consequences attached. One important practical note before you plan anything around it: the NFL has not set the kickoff time yet. Week 17 is flex-scheduled and the slot is decided late, so check the official listing in the days beforehand rather than trusting any time you see now, including ours.
