Six hundred restaurants down there and you have been to the same four for three years. It is not entirely your fault — from the sidewalk every menu blurs into the next, and the hostess stand is always doing that thing where it pretends not to see you.
This breaks the pattern by force. Sixteen blocks of downtown turn into a self-guided route, and twenty-odd kitchens put out the one dish each chef actually wants you to try. Not a sample. Not a scrap. The thing they would want their mother to judge them on. You walk it at whatever pace suits you, and the only real rule is that you cannot go back to the same place twice, which everybody breaks.
General admission covers the doors; the upgrade adds exclusive bites and drinks. The after-party moves it to a rooftop with a DJ and the whole skyline.
