Lizzy & the Triggermen are a ten-plus-piece outfit out of Los Angeles playing original material in a 1930s idiom, horns and all, fronted by a vocalist who can actually carry it. The trap with this genre is pastiche, and the reason this band fills rooms is that the songs are new. Nobody is waiting for a standard.
