When half of Wisin y Yandel steps on stage alone, the room still moves like both of them showed up.
Yandel's Sinfónico Tour is the reggaeton veteran at his most ambitious — a full orchestral arrangement backing the hits that defined Latin urban music for two decades. This isn't a greatest-hits jukebox set. It's a reimagination: the beats you remember rebuilt with strings, horns, and arrangements that reveal how much musicality was always hiding inside those club tracks. Viejas Arena at SDSU is the kind of room where the bass travels through the floor and the crowd sings the hooks louder than the band expects.
The San Diego show lands on October 30 — Halloween eve — and the energy in the venue will carry both celebrations at once. Costumes in the crowd. Perreo on the floor. An orchestra on stage.
Friday, October 30, 2026. 8:00 PM. Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl, San Diego State University.

The lights drop. The bass hits first. And for two hours, every person in Viejas Arena gets to be exactly as angry as they actually are.
Three Days Grace and I Prevail together is a co-headliner built for the crowd that discovered rock music when it felt like a lifeline — and never stopped needing it. The Alienation Tour is named for the feeling, and the setlist is designed to burn through it. TDG brings twenty years of anthems that never left rotation. I Prevail brings the metalcore energy that makes the floor move in waves. The Funeral Portrait opens and sets the tone early — dark, theatrical, and loud.
Viejas Arena at SDSU is an underrated rock venue — small enough that the sound stays thick and fills the room, loud enough that the student section makes it feel like a festival. November in San Diego means the night air carries the bass through the parking lot long after the house lights come up.
Friday, November 20, 2026. Doors 6:00 PM. Show 7:00 PM. Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl, San Diego State University.

The voice that made you cry in your car at 2 AM is about to make six thousand people cry standing up. Kehlani brings the World Tour to Viejas Arena at San Diego State University on September 23, 2026, continuing a North American run that has turned the Oakland-born R&B singer into one of the most in-demand live performers in the genre. Kehlani's catalog lives in the space between vulnerability and defiance — songs about love that sound like they already know how the story ends but refuse to skip to the last page. The Viejas Arena show starts at 6:30 PM, with Kehlani partnering with PLUS1 so that one dollar from every ticket sold goes to The Kehlani Fund by Live Nation. The venue sits on the SDSU campus at 5500 Canyon Crest Drive, holding roughly 12,000 for concerts in a setting that puts college-town energy inside arena scale. This is not background music. This is the room where every lyric gets sung back louder than it was delivered.

Sturgill Simpson didn't just change his name to Johnny Blue Skies — he changed everything. The last country artist who walked away from Nashville at the peak of his commercial power to make the music he actually wanted to make was exactly nobody, because nobody else has the nerve.
Johnny Blue Skies brings the Mutiny for the Masses 2026 Tour to Viejas Arena at San Diego State University on Saturday, September 13 at 8 PM. The Dark Clouds back him — a band assembled not for commercial viability but for the kind of uncompromising rock and roll energy that made A Sailor's Guide to Earth feel like a religious experience. Viejas Arena's 12,000-seat capacity means this is a proper arena show for an artist whose fans treat every performance like a private communion.
The cult around Sturgill-now-Johnny runs deep. His fans don't just buy tickets — they text three people the second they see the listing. If someone in your life has strong opinions about bluegrass and psychedelia simultaneously, this is the show they've been waiting for.
Viejas Arena is on the SDSU campus, accessible via the Green Line trolley. The kind of artist who makes you rethink what country music is supposed to be.

Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl, 5500 C…
For a while there, J. Cole disappeared. Not the way artists disappear when they're working on something — the way a man disappears when he's deciding whether the thing he built is the thing he wants. He walked away from a festival headlining slot, sat out the album cycle, and came back with The Fall-Off, which turned out to be exactly the record that silence was for.
The Fall-Off Tour brings Cole to Viejas Arena in the middle of a run that's already proven the album connects the way his earlier work did — but with the weight of someone who's been away long enough to stop performing hunger and start performing peace. The setlists from earlier dates pull from across the full catalog, not just the new record, and the production is scaled for arenas without losing the conversational quality that made Cole's shows feel like the room was smaller than it was.
Viejas Arena on the SDSU campus holds about 12,000, and this one sold fast. The kind of show where the crowd knows every word and Cole knows they know.

You remember exactly where you were when you first heard 'Burnin' Up.' You were in a car, or a bedroom, or standing in a crowd that hadn't figured out yet that this band would define a generation. Now the Jonas Brothers are recreating that tour — not just playing the songs, but rebuilding the show — and they're bringing it to San Diego.
The Burning Up Tour All Over Again hits Viejas Arena on November 30. This isn't a nostalgia act playing greatest hits between new material nobody asked for. This is a full recreation of the 2008 tour that made them stadium-level famous, reimagined for arenas in 2026. The setlist leans into the catalog that matters: 'Year 3000,' 'S.O.S.,' 'Burnin' Up,' 'Lovebug' — the songs that soundtracked the transition from Myspace to whatever came next.
Special guests include All Time Low, Magnus Ferrell, and Franklin Jonas at select dates. Viejas Arena holds around 12,000 and sits on the San Diego State campus at 5500 Canyon Crest Drive — the kind of venue where even the back row feels like part of the show.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. This is a Monday night show with a 7:30 PM start — a rare weeknight arena concert in San Diego that's worth building an evening around. If you were a Jonas Brothers fan in 2008, this isn't a trip down memory lane. It's a chance to stand in that crowd again, except this time you actually appreciate what you're hearing.

Tyla went from a South African teenager making music in her bedroom to the first African artist to win a Grammy for Best African Music Performance in a single album cycle, and the A*POP World Tour is the global victory lap. At Viejas Arena at San Diego State, the sound that blended amapiano with pop finds a room full of people who discovered it on TikTok and stayed because the music was better than the algorithm that surfaced it. The production matches the ambition — this is not a club set with arena lighting bolted on, but a full-scale show designed for the global stage by an artist who understands that being the biggest new voice in African pop means every performance has to justify the title. The choreography is tight. The energy is relentless. The crowd will know every word to Water and everything that came after it. Tuesday, December 15. 8:00 PM. Viejas Arena, 5500 Canyon Crest Dr, San Diego.

Pentatonix made a cappella cool by refusing to pretend it was anything other than what it is — five voices, no instruments, and the kind of vocal arrangements that make audio engineers ask how. The Christmas in the City Tour is the annual holiday tradition that fills arenas with people who came for the harmonies and stay for the moment when the bass drops lower than any amplified kick drum and 12,000 people feel it in their chest. At Viejas Arena the holiday setlist gets the full production treatment: lights, staging, and the kind of vocal precision that makes auto-tune feel like an insult. The Christmas catalog alone would fill a show, but Pentatonix weaves in the hits from every era — because a group that can make Daft Punk sound like a hymn does not need to stay in one lane. Bring the family. The kids will be amazed. The adults will cry. Both reactions are correct. Sunday, December 20. 6:00 PM. Viejas Arena, 5500 Canyon Crest Dr, San Diego.

Los Angeles Convention Center, 120…
You will be tired in a way that feels earned. Four days, a hundred thousand people, and not one of them needs you to explain what you are talking about.
The largest anime convention in North America takes the Los Angeles Convention Center over Fourth of July weekend and spills into the JW Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton beside it. Industry panels, screening rooms, autograph sessions with voice actors and composers, concerts that sell out weeks ahead. Studios from Japan use this as their main North American announcement stage — if a sequel or adaptation is being revealed, it often happens in a room you could be standing in.
The exhibit hall carries imported merchandise and collaboration exclusives that surface nowhere else on the continent.
Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 S Figueroa St. Thursday through Sunday. Badges run from top-tier early-access down to single-day passes.
Book the connected hotel corridor months out. Everyone who tells you that learned it the hard way.

Coast Hwy & Pier View Way, Oceansi…
The Pacific is a block away.
Every Thursday evening from 5 to 9 PM, the corner of Coast Highway and Pier View Way becomes the Oceanside Sunset Market — vendors, food, live music, and the light that only happens when you're that close to the water at that hour.
The beach-town market that runs when the day is actually good. Local makers, artisans, food vendors, and the crowd that comes out because the evening earned it.
The vendor mix is Oceanside-specific: local crafts, art, jewelry, produce, and the food vendors that the beach corridor supports. The live music stage runs throughout the evening. The Oceanside Pier is visible from the market — the setting does work the vendors don't have to.
Free to attend. Parking available near the Pier. Every Thursday, May through September, 5-9 PM. Oceanside, California. The market runs through marine layer some evenings. The cooler Pacific air is part of the draw, not a reason to stay home.

Bayard St and Garnet Ave, Pacific …
A hundred and fifty steps from the ocean, a corner of Pacific Beach turns into a block party that nobody had to organize you into.
Fire pits going. Nine to twelve food vendors rotating week to week, so the thing you loved last time might be gone and the thing replacing it might be better. Live music that is genuinely local — acoustic sets, small bands, the occasional DJ. Games. A crowd of PB locals and students and people who simply wandered up from the beach still holding a towel.
Past vendors have run birria tacos, banh mi, craft lemonade, Hawaiian shave ice, artisan pastries, small-batch hot sauces. A few craft sellers usually set up alongside.
This is a neighborhood gathering, not a ticketed event. Free. No RSVP. You walk up.
Bayard St and Garnet Ave, Pacific Beach. 5 to 9:30 PM.
